The story revolves around a man, Takeshi Kovacs, who has been the only surviving soldier of the group that got routed in a fight in opposition against the new world order. For a long time, however, his mind has been preserved.

Now a very affluent and wealthy business tycoon, Mr. Bancroft, offers Kovacs a chance to get resurrected and live once again. To avail the opportunity Kovacs will have to do something for Mr. Bancroft, and that is solving a very mysterious murder.

A Well-Picked Cast

The character selection is very much up to the mark. The lead roles have been given to fine actors. Such as Joel Kinnaman and Ray Chase play as Takeshi in the two seasons respectively. James Purefoy played Laurens Bancroft, the rich man. Martha Higareda played Kristin Ortega, a Mexican American cop, and apart from these, there are many more interesting characters in the series.
